Three and a Half Songs - Short Film

Jaded and single, a young singer/songwriter (Laura Evans) - during a gig - makes eye contact with a man in the audience. As she sings, she dreams of their relationship. Three and a half songs later, she decides to take control of her fate...

St Elmo Pictures' first short film project 'Three and a Half Songs' was born and bred in Los Angeles. Also written and directed by Jessica Elisa Boyd, it's a bitter-sweet tale of a single LA singer-songwriter who sees a young man in her audience that prompts a sequence of rememberings/imaginings as she sings her way towards the possibility of love. Starring Laura Evans and Eric Aude the film received great acclaim at its LA premiere and filled us with the inspiration and confidence to throw ourselves into production for Sogni D'Oro.
